Vice president of Hurley International Ryan Hurley gave us an hour of his time on 9-9-09 which happened to be the 10 year anniversary of the southern California based Hurley clothing company. 
Big things are happening for Hurley this year including the recent partnership with Nike; the acquisition of the Hurley Pro (formerly known as the Boost Mobile Pro); and the launch of a boardshort which will combine Olympic speed technologies with the comfort of a seamless bathing suit, alleviating chaffing, ultimately giving the most optimal comfort and performance for all surfers.
Ryan spoke highly of his father, Bob Hurley, and to the company’s dedication to the youth.  In the last year Hurley held a high school design competition in which the winner actually was awarded a full time job in the graphic design department at Hurley’s world headquarters in Costa Mesa.
